Close Protection Course Overview

This Highfield Qualifications Level 3 Certificate for Close Protection Operatives is the fundamentals in providing Executive Close Protection to HNW/UHNW individuals. The course is an intense 24 day course open to a range of applicants. Designed to be a fully immersive training experience to prepare you to step into the industry with a hands on approach to training.

Applicants range from Ex-Police, Ex-Military/Serving Military, and Civilians.

  • During this course you will undertake the highest standard of training.

    • Level 3 Certificate in Close Protection (RQF)

    • Level 3 Award in First Response Emergency Care (FREC 3)

    • Level 2 Award in Risk Assessment (RQF)

    • Level 2 Award in Health and Safety (RQF)

    • Level 2 Award in Mental Health Awareness (RQF)

    • Award in Close Quarters Combat

  • The MCP Close Protection Course is a fully inclusive course, meaning you do not need to worry about anything other than preparation both physical and mental.

    Results and Certificates following course completion can take up to 6 weeks.

  • Mandatory Requirements

    • Be Over the age of 18 Years Old at Start of Course

    • Hold a Valid Passport with a Minimum of 12 months remaining

    • Successfully Pass an Intake Interview

    • Able to Commit to Full Duration of the Course

    • Own / Have Access to a Laptop for the Full Duration of the Course

    Desirable Requirements

    • Full Clean Manual Driving Licence

    • Experience within the Private Security Industry

  • Must be completed before course start.

    Complete both ACT e-learning courses. (ACT- Awareness & ACT Security). These can be completed for free on the protect.uk website.

    Submit Copies of Group A & Group B ID Documents. Details for what is accepted can be found on the UK Gov Website.

    Ensure the course is paid in full.

Following successful completion of the course, you will be entitled to apply for your SIA Close Protection Licence or Licence relevant to your home country. Completion of the course is entirely up to you, it is designed to challenge you to be the best operator.
